THE PROPERTY
Maison de la Grotte is a peaceful gite in the heart of the Perigord Noir in the Dordogne.
Featuring a large living area with a beautiful big fireplace and wood burning stove, and brand new fitted kitchen, the accommodation also boasts two ensuite double bedrooms; the top bedroom featuring two single beds, and a 160cm (queen size) bed in the master bedroom. Outside, there are three patios, one under the cover of a large awning.
It has a large private garden with its own cave and direct access to a stunning 11m x 5m salt water swimming pool. With private access and total seclusion, the gite is perfect for families or couples.
WHAT WE OFFER
Maison de la Grotte is a peaceful gite in the heart of Perigord Noir. We are located in the 'golden triangle' of the Dordogne, just 40 minutes from the beautiful medieval towns of Sarlat, Perigueux and Bergerac. The gite is on a property of three acres, and has a completely private garden (featuring its own cave!) with direct access to a stunning heated salt water pool of which you have sole use. We live in a house on the property, and we respect your privacy but are on-call if you need any assistance.
GORGEOUS POOL
La Maison de la Grotte features a superb 11m x 5m heated saltwater swimming pool exclusively for our guests' use. There is also a beautiful covered outdoor dining area complete with gas barbecue right next to the pool.
FREE WI-FI
With our Free Wi-Fi, French and English television, your business and entertainment needs are covered. There is also a Bluetooth Bose speaker to connect with to play music.
CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT
We operate a Saturday to Saturday stay regime. Check-out is by 10.00 and check-in is at 4.00pm. Late check out can be available on request.
MAISON DE LA GROTTE ROOMS AND FACILITIES
This beautifully decorated and homely gite has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. Here are a few pictures of the bedrooms and living areas.
LIVING ROOM
The living room is fully equipped with two sofas, a 40" television with both French and English channels and a BluRay player with a selection of movies to choose from.
KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM
The kitchen has every appliance you need, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, kettle and espresso coffee machine. All cutlery, pans and, cups and glasses are supplied, including smart plastic glasses exclusively for pool use.
BEDROOMS
These well appointed, comfortable bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms ensure you get a good night's sleep. All bed linen and towels, including pool towels are supplied. We also supply eco-friendly shampoo, shower gel and liquid soap, So if you are flying, you don't need to bring anything! If you are bringing a new baby, first of all congratulations, and we can supply a cot, bedding, and a change mat.

A spacious bedroom with a 160cm (Queen size) bed and ensuite shower room.

GARDENS AND SWIMMING POOL
The gite has it's own self contained garden complete with cave giving the property it's name - Maison de la Grotte.

The magnificent 11 x 5m heated salt water swimming pool is completely private and is surrounded by gardens and shrubbery with an outside covered dining area complete with gas BBQ and wine fridge. Perfect for outdoor dining.
PRIVATE GARDEN
The gite garden is self contained and comes complete with three separate patio areas, a cave and a large garden laid mostly with lawn.
